About Jane Boucher
|
Ms. Boucher has authored three previous books, The Assertive Communication Workbook (Career Track), The Body-Mind Connection (Boucher Publishing), the original How to Love the Job You Hate (Thomas Nelson, Co. Publishers), which also became an audio book (Padgett-Thompson). She has contributed to: Ordinary Women ... Extraordinary Success: Everything You Need to Excel, from America’s Top Women Motivators (Career Press), Star Spangled Speakers (Royal Books) and the audio book Sound Selling...Do’s Don’ts for Boosting Self Esteem (Nightingale Conant). She is also a syndicated newspaper columnist appearing in business journals such as the Dayton Ohio Business Journal in "The Enterprise Zone." She has contributed to the "Voices" column for The Northern Nevada Business Weekly, her observations have appeared in Sierra Sage and the guide Menu & More in the "Lifestyles and More" column. Ms. Boucher worked with chemically dependant young people before going into her professional career. She has earned a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation from the National Speakers Association, a distinction awarded to less than 8% of all professional speakers. Today she owns Boucher Consultants, a nationally recognized firm specializing in organizational effectiveness, professional growth and communications. She is a high-energy speaker and executive coach, with clients ranging from small business to Fortune 500 companies such as: General Motors, IBM, Inc. Magazine and the United States Air Force. She has received praise from such notables as Senator Orrin Hatch and has shared a podium with General Norman Schwartzkopf. Ms. Boucher is currently at work on Surviving Him: How to Stay Out Once You Get Out, a book about spouse abuse. |
